is made of stainless steel woven wire mesh, or stainless steel fiber felt. It is constructed by using multi-layered wire mesh overlapped and then sintered together in vacuum furnace, rolled into a cylinder shape with two ends welded together. Rolling seam welding process is added for roundness and flatness of entire structure. Its interlaced mesh forms a rigid structure which overcomes the disadvantages of ordinary wire mesh, such as low strength, unstable hole shapes, also beats sintered powder filter, ceramic filters, etc. Above all, this stainless steel filter cartridge wins great favor with prominent features like high temperature resistance, smooth wire pores, good permeability, high dirt holding capacity.

Sintered Powder Metal Filter Cartridge

Sintered metal filter cartridge is manufactured by metal powder without adding adhesive. Formed under isostatic cool pressing and sintered with high temperature vacuum. The size and distribution of the pores can be controlled by the metal powder.

Sintered mesh filter cartridges are made from usually 5-layer stainless steel wire mesh. Our sintered filter cartridges has more strong structure, fine permeability and accurate filter precision, easy back wash cleaning. Beside above mentioned benefits, sintered mesh cartridges are resistance to corrosion, high temperature, and high pressure.

Its materials are all stainless steel construction, such as AISI304, AISI304L, AISI316, AISI316L. Filter rating range from 1 micron to 250 micron.
Sintered mesh filter cartridges are widely used in pharmaceuticals, fluidized beds, liquid and gas filtration, chemical processing, chemical fiber filtration, food and beverage, oil and gas filtration, polyester and water treatment industries.
Pleated sintered mesh filter is made of stainless steel wire mesh, or sintered metal fiber felt, which is sintered at each wire contact point to produce a strong surface-sieving porous filter cylinder. Moreover, the filter element is pleated design that further provides large filter area, good dirt holding capacity. Double open-ended or single open-ended is available as per customers' need, threaded end is often equipped with gasket, like o-ring, to reduce the friction of the corrugated filter. Unlike unsintered mesh, pleated sintered mesh filter enables the use of finer wires to produce more pores per unit area for higher contaminant loading capacity. On the other hand, pleated sintered filter cartridge is more preferred to replace the PP filter cartridge with its back washing and reusability advantage, in applications of corrosive liquid filtration, oxidizing liquid filtration, liquid and gas filtration, etc.
